As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and dynamic Cloud Security Engineer to join our team and contribute to the security infrastructure of our cloud-based systems.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement security controls, protocols, and infrastructure for our cloud-based systems.
Conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities, threats, and risks to the cloud infrastructure.
Perform security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Manage identity and access controls, enforce least privilege principles, and ensure proper segregation of duties in the cloud environment.
Coordinate and execute security incident response plans, including analyzing security logs and conducting forensics investigations.
Implement and manage security monitoring tools and processes for continuous monitoring of cloud infrastructure.
Stay updated on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities through threat intelligence sources.
Provide security training and awareness programs for employees.
Collaborate with cloud service providers to understand and implement their security frameworks effectively.
Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify and address security weaknesses.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in cloud security or a related field.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant discipline.
Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) are a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Wavetec is on the lookout for a Mid level “SQA Engineer” for its Karachi office for it’s sister concern company.
Responsibilities:
Develop the testing strategies.
Arrange the hardware and software requirements for the test setup.
Create test cases and perform.
Identify and managing proactively the risks.
Analyze user stories and/ use cases/ requirements for validity and feasibility.
Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression).
Design and develop automation scripts when needed
Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies.
Apply quality engineering principles throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements:
Experience: At least 2 -3 years of relevant experience
Technical Skills: Development/software configuration and testing experience)
Education: BS/BE in Computer Science/Engineering
Good written and verbal communication
