JOB DESCRIPTION:
Head of Supply Chain is responsible for procurement, managing logistics, warehouse, inventory management, material requirement planning and stores of the whole company. You’ll also be responsible for transporting of Raw Materials from Warehouse to factories and Branches and transporting finished products from factories to outlets, LMTS, IMTS, Corporate Clients, etc.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and implement the overall supply chain strategy to meet the organization’s goals, including support for corporate sales growth.
• Oversee procurement, production planning, inventory management, and logistics to ensure seamless operations. • Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure timely procurement of quality raw materials at optimal costs.
• Analyze and improve supply chain performance by monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and addressing inefficiencies. • Collaborate with production, sales, and corporate teams to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
• Optimize inventory levels to balance cost efficiency with availability for production and sales demands. • Lead the implementation of technology solutions to enhance supply chain visibility, tracking, and management.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food industry standards across all supply chain processes. • Manage the logistics and distribution network to ensure timely and cost-effective product delivery.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
QUALIFICATION & SKILLS:
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8-12 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the food, bakery, or FMCG industry. • Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ERP/Supply Chain Management systems. • Excellent knowledge of logistics, procurement, and inventory optimization.
