ASSISTANT MANAGER / MANAGER INTERNAL AUDIT DEPARTMENT
Pakistan Stock Exchange is the only Stock Exchange of Pakistan, having its TREC Holders in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. PSX is looking for a talented, qualified and highly motivated individual for the role of ‘Assistant Manager / Manager’ in the Internal Audit Department which shall be based in Head Office, Karachi. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage / perform assigned audits as per the audit plan.
- Review the quality of audit work to ensure adequacy of field work, documentation and conclusions.
- Prepare Audit Programs and supervise/carryout audit fieldwork.
- Document audit observations, along with necessary evidence.
- Assist in performing tasks assigned to Internal Audit by the Audit Committee/BoD.
- Perform any other special tasks assigned by the CIAO.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Excellent command over International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is required for the role.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- The capacity to work both independently and collaboratively with a focus on meeting deadlines & delivering high-quality work.
- Should be proficient with the use of technology.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and professionalism in all audit activities.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS
- Fresh Qualified Chartered Accountant with training completed preferably in external audit section of Chartered Accountant (CA) firm.
- ACCA qualified with at least three (03) years of experience preferably in external audit section of a CA firm.
- Age limit is 32 years.
