Requirement of Logistics Expert
National Logistics Corporation (NLC) invites applications from competent and highly experienced professionals to join as Logistics Expert to be a member of the National Logistics Board.
Location: Rawalpindi
Position Criteria:
- Master degree holder professionals (preferably certified Board of Directors).
- Over 20 years’ experience in the field of Logistics and have served on any of the following appointments:
- CEOs of leading Logistics companies.
- Retired Senior Government Officials with relevant experience.
- Age limit up to 65 years (Age relaxation will be given on the basis of qualification/experience).
- Preferably resident of Rawalpindi/Islamabad.
Job Description:
- Will serve as a member of the Board of Corporation & advise on Logistics Operations of NLC.
- Advise NLC in the development of policies in line with strategic goals of the Corporation and in accordance with relevant government rules and regulations.
- Support the organization for the determination of optimal regional and domestic trade.
- Advise on the identification of bottlenecks for reduction in time related to export/import and determining ways & means to reduce cost.
- Advise on policy issues affecting regional & international Logistics trade.
- Provide technical advice to support the organization in business development and revenue generation.
- Attend Board meetings whenever scheduled.

- NLC will pay appropriate remuneration to such Board Member, in line with the market practice.
