WE ARE HIRING ASSISTANT MANAGER – CUSTOMS HOUSE BROKERAGE
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Business Administration (BBA), or an equivalent qualification (required).
EXPERIENCE
- 5-6 years of relevant experience.
SKILLS
- In-depth knowledge of customs clearance procedures (import and export), particularly within the telecom industry and industrial sector.
- Expertise in customs tariffs, SROs, and their regulatory implications.
- Up-to-date knowledge of customs laws with hands-on experience in airport-based customs operations.
- Ability to develop and implement streamlined procedures to enhance operational efficiency, minimize paperwork, and improve communication between customers and customs authorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills for addressing customs audits and customer-related challenges with effective communication.
LOCATION
- Lahore
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure timely clearance of import and export shipments at LHE Airport.
- Oversee Goods Declaration (GD) filing, system entries, and customer billing.
- Maintain strong follow-ups with customs officials and clients to expedite shipment clearance.
- Provide customers with real-time shipment status updates.
- Address and resolve customs audit queries and customer concerns with a strategic and solution-oriented approach.
- Collaborate with other branches to facilitate the efficient clearance of shipments handled in Lahore.
