Job Summary:

As an Assistant Business Development Manager, you will play a vital role in identifying growth opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships, and contributing to the overall success of the company.

Responsibilities:

Market Research and Analysis:
· Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities, market trends, and customer needs.
· Analyze competitors’ activities and strategies to make informed recommendations for the company’s market positioning.
Business Expansion:
· Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to develop and execute strategies for market expansion and customer acquisition.
· Identify potential locations for new stores and assess their feasibility through financial and demographic analysis.
Relationship Management:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, suppliers, and business partners.
Project Management:
· Oversee the execution of business development projects, ensuring they are completed within specified timelines and budget constraints.
Reporting and Documentation:
· Prepare regular reports on business development activities, and project status.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to business partnerships and agreements.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus.
· Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the retail industry.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends.
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present ideas effectively to stakeholders.
· A proactive and results-driven approach to achieving targets and meeting deadlines.
· Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Familiarity with the retail market and consumer behavior in Pakistan is preferred.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant business software.
