Job Posting: Assistant Manager – Internal Audit (Lahore based)
The Assistant Manager-Internal Audit will play a crucial role in risk mitigation and suggesting improvements for operational efficiency of Lama Retail. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of operational, compliance and financial risks associated with retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the Internal Audit Charter of the organization in line with the international standards and best business practices.
- Develop risk-based annual audit plans detailing the scope, nature, and timing of audit activities.
- Design internal audit procedures and work programs.
- Examine and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of information systems and business controls.
- Conduct internal audits to assess the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the established internal controls and procedures.
- Conduct ad-hoc investigations and reviews as requested by senior management.
- Discuss audit findings and recommendations with line managers and follow-up implementation of agreed procedures.
- Assess, recommend, and document SOPs with regards to opportunities for business process optimization.
Qualifications:
● CA finalist, article-ship completed from a QCR rated firm. CIA / CISA certification would be a plus.
● 2-3 years’ Industry experience in the Internal Audit department of Retail / Textile Sector is preferred.
● In-depth knowledge of Internal Controls – COSO Framework.
● Proven experience in risk assessment and control environment evaluation.
● Functional understanding of ERP & retail business processes is required.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
● Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and meet deadlines.
● A high level of integrity and ethical conduct.
Location: Head-Office, Lahore Based.
Salary Range: 100k-125k

Job Opportunity: Accounts Officer – Receivables
The “Accounts Officer – Receivables” will be a key member of the finance department, responsible for managing accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining Lama Retail’s financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
1Reconcile daily sales with collections (cash & credit card) for branches and E-store.
- Verify and confirm paid orders on the bank portal for E-store dispatches.
- Address customer support queries related to paid orders.
- Monthly verify and record bank charges.
- Prepare daily reconciliation of all couriers and follow-up receivable balance. Prepare payment gateway reconciliation.
- Prepare cheques as per the approved budget.
- Handle daily banking tasks including cash withdrawal and cheque depositing.
- Manage asset register, tagging, and depreciation tracking.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- High integrity and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Salary: 40k-45k
