Please note that it is an on-site, full-time position based at our Corporate Office – Gulberg Greens, Islamabad.
Who are we looking for?
- Preferably Master of Business Administration or Master equivalent degree in Finance, Commerce or Economics from an HEC recognized/overseas institution. Any professional certification would be an added advantage.
- At least 7 years’ experience in credit administration, credit risk management, monitoring and control in bank/DFIs.
Key Responsibilities:
Branch Operations
- Lead a team of Area Manager Operations ensuring smooth functioning of branch CAD operations.
- Deploy effective branch CAD structure, duly aligned with bank lending strategy.
- Ensure smooth implementation of changes in credit policy and procedures through AMOs and CAOs.
- Provide guidance & support to AMOs and CAOs with regards to CAD related procedures, regulations, systems etc.
- Ensure coordination between AMOs / branch CAOs and relevant desks of Corporate Office for the resolution of issues, procedural clarifications and system & technology matters.
Supervision of Area Manager Operations
- Ensure Area Manager Operations impart training to branch CAOs on weak areas, new products, new system developments and any changes in processes and/or system as applicable.
- Ensure that Area Manager Ops is reconciling all type of pledged collaterals especially gold with relevant registers and system reports as per frequencies defined in the SOPs.
Compliance
- Ensure that fraud risks & operational gaps in processing of credit cases are identified, reported and minimized with the help of control functions.
- Offsite review of credit cases (through scan copies) as per defined criteria to ensure document completion prior to loan disbursement.
- Guide & supervise AMOs and branch CAOs to address & close audit observations within stipulated timeframe.
- Review and processing of goldsmith onboarding requests received from branches.
- Review of goldsmith agreements received from branches in line with laid down procedures & maintain global database of goldsmiths in system T24.
People Management - Ensure that CAD staff is equipped with required knowledge and skills which minimize operational challenges and/or issues.
- Assist AMOs / OMs to make effective score cards /indicators of CAOs to gauge their monthly performance.
- Ensure effective backup planning of key resources through Area Manager Operations to ensure business continuity in a seamless manner.
Audits
- Facilitate internal/external audits & SBP inspections and provide support in timely resolution of audit / inspection findings.
