Job Title: Accounts and Finance Manager

HOPSCOTCH® a kidswear brand operating since 2014, and having a presence in the major cities of Pakistan, is looking for an “Accounts & Finance Manager” to join its Finance team.
Responsibilities:
· Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting and finance department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll
· Prepare financial statements and reports for management and stakeholders, including monthly financial statements, cash flow forecasts, and annual budgets
· Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
· Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions, including pricing, inventory management, and capital expenditures
· Work closely with other departments, including sales, marketing, and operations, to provide financial support and ensure alignment with company goals
· Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and tax authorities
· Develop and mentor accounting and finance team members to ensure a high level of performance and job satisfaction
· Oversee month/quarter-end financial close.
· Ensure compliance for donor and entity audits and act as a liaison person during audits.
· Assist the Head of Finance/CFO & CEO in developing and updating strategic/ business plan.
Requirements:
· Master’s degree/ qualified member of ACMA, ACCA, and ICAP (Article Completed) will be preferred
· 5+ years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in the retail industry
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations, including IFRS and GAAP
· Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders
· Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills
· Experience with accounting software.
