JOB DESCRIPTION
- Electrical switching of medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) circuits for a steam turbine- based power plant.
- Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the steam turbine power plant within the technical limits specified in the Energy Purchase Agreement (EPA) and plant operating procedures.
- Proficiency in handling various electrical systems of the power plant, including MV/LV circuit breakers, generators, transformers, protection relays, and energy meters.
- Assisting the Control Room Operator (CRO) during plant start-up and shutdown, following the site operating procedures.
- Maintaining a comprehensive log of all shift events and activities conducted during the shift.
- Strict adherence to all safety rules and procedures to prioritize the health and safety of all employees.
