We are looking for “𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫 / 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 – 𝐇𝐒𝐄 ”
Responsibilities:·
𝐇𝐒𝐄 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐬:
Ensure adherence to local and international safety and environmental regulations (e.g., Factories Act 1934, NEQS).
Conduct regular safety and environmental audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks.
Maintain records for regulatory and customer compliance audits.
𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐤 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭:
Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses for all operations and projects.
Implement control measures to eliminate or mitigate workplace hazards.
Ensure the safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals and hazardous materials.
𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬:
Develop and deliver training programs on workplace safety, emergency response, and environmental awareness for employees.
Promote a safety-first culture through campaigns, toolbox talks, and workshops.
𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭:
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Maintain incident logs and prepare detailed reports for management and regulatory authorities.
𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲:
Conduct fire safety inspections and ensure fire-fighting equipment is in working condition.
Develop and implement fire safety protocols and evacuation plans.
Provide fire safety training and coordinate emergency drills.
𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭:
Oversee waste management systems, ensuring compliance with NEQS for effluent and emissions.
Monitor energy and resource usage, recommending sustainability initiatives.
Drive initiatives to reduce the carbon footprint and promote green practices.
𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭:
Draft, review, and update HSE policies and procedures in line with industry standards and local regulations.
Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for high-risk activities.
𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
Liaise with regulatory authorities, external auditors, and certification bodies.
Collaborate with production, maintenance, and HR teams to address safety and environmental concerns.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
· NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA certification is preferred.
· 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in the textile or manufacturing industry.
· Knowledge of Pakistani labor laws, NEQS, and ISO 45001/14001 standards.
· Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
· Proficiency in MS Office and incident reporting software.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
