We are looking for
Assistant Manager Procurement – Karachi
Requirements:
- Process purchase requisitions/orders within purchasing authority. Invite, assess, and award/recommend supplier tenders, bids, quotations, and proposals.
- Strategically align and develop Procurement function.
- Make Positive contribution in bottom line by cost saving.
- Supervise RFQ process in accordance with company policies.
- Managing the supplier’s selection process.
- Weekly maintain PR to PO cycle with Team.
- Coordinate with Suppliers for timely deliveries.
- Synchronize with end users for PR/PO update.
- Correspond with Account/Finance department for timely payment to suppliers.
- Procurement of Material at competitive prices and deliver at the required locations.
- Ensure timely buying and delivery of spare parts, instruments, and services directly related to the process to avoid any production loss.
- Planning and timely Buying and delivery of materials related to Projects.
- To analyze the market, negotiate and make comparative statement for execution of Buying Process without compromising quality and process.
- To develop vendors as an alternate resource of the existing materials.
- Supervise RFQ process in accordance with company policies.
- Monitor all open purchase requisitions & assess the fund availability.
- Review the project plans & specifications in order to determine if cost saving can be obtained.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure that all materials and equipment required, available in inventory to avoid any delays.
- Maintaining and updating supplier information, grouping, delivery time, product ranges.
Skills and Requirements:
- Education: Post Graduate with Majors in Supply Chain
- Experience: 4-5 Years in Supply Chain in a FMCG organization
- Number of Positions: 1
