Descon Engineering is looking to hire “Lead After-Sales Engineer”
Job Location: Karachi
Job Description:
· Identify the need of after sales services for potential clients.
· Establishing and maintaining the detailed knowledge of products and services necessary for ongoing support, repair and maintenance
· Planning site visits and attending customer sites in order to carry out troubleshooting, repair and maintain automation equipment with a view to commercial efficiency and viability and customer satisfaction
· Develop and manage long-lasting relationships with distributors and customers.
· Ensure diagnosis and technical support over diverse areas of expertise: control software, hardware and field instruments.
· Collaborate with other departments to ensure continuous improvement of our products, services, and workflows.
· Assist in putting together support and troubleshooting technical documentation for both internal and external use.
· Perform the occasional customer on-site troubleshooting and repairs.
· Attending and participating in training courses and after sales meetings when required.
· Assign after sales service tasks to execution team engineers, if required, after consulting with lead application engineer.
· Must be willing to travel in different areas of Pakistan, as and when required.
Experience:
· 7 to 8 years of hands-on experience in managing after sales service jobs in automation industry on multiple control system.
· Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
· Should have hands on experience in engineering modification, troubleshooting and commissioning on Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Fatek, Schneider and GE control system.
· Should have good understanding of different communication protocols like Modbus serial, Modbus TCP, Profibus, Profinet, and DNP3.
Qualification: B.Sc in Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering from a recognized University.
