Job Opportunity: Merchandising Executive
LAMA Retail is looking for a Merchandising Executive who will assist in optimizing our Delivery timelines, Launch summaries and inventory management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our stores are stocked with the right products at the right time to meet customer demand.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and executing product assortment plans that align with company goals and customer preferences.
Liasoning with international vendors and keeping a log of records regarding order placement, pricing negotiations and delivery of products in a timely manner. This includes container bookings related to international shipments along with complete documentations.
Assist in creating and implementation of this document in a timely and efficient manner. Close coordination with the category and sourcing team is required.
Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and cost structures to develop and implement effective pricing strategies that drive sales and margins. Safeguarding of company margins is a core responsibility.
OTIF (on-time, in-full) deliveries and working with suppliers Sourcing team to shorten follow the lead time.
Plan and tailor their product assortment to meet the specific demands of each of the target segments.
Prepare comparative analysis data for historic cross border sourcing, analyze the quality and costing for imported and local sourcing.
Continuously monitor sales data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Analysis of production status with planned drops and share the Daily/ Weekly production status reports to management.
Performs other duties as necessary to support the objectives of LAMA assigned by the company management.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, , supply chain, engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience of 1-2 years in a similar role, preferably in the retail industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically MS Excel.
Proficiency in using ODOO and Candela is a plus.
Salary: 60k-70k
