Greenstar Social Marketing (Guarantee) Limited is looking for candidates for the position of ‘Assistant General Manager – Gender and Adolescent & Youth Specialist’ based at Islamabad.
Job Responsibilities:
· Conduct research and data analysis to better understand the needs and challenges faced by young people in accessing family planning services.
· Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of gender-sensitive programs and projects, including research, training, capacity building, and policy advocacy.
· Develop and implement gender equality strategies and initiatives to support the achievement of the company’s mission and goals.
· Developing and implementing strategies to engage young people, especially young women, in family planning and reproductive health services.
· Review and update the existing program framework and strategies to ensure they are gender-responsive and youth-friendly.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners, including government agencies, civil society organizations, academic institutions, and donor agencies.
· Developing capacity building programs and training materials for public sector on gender-responsive and youth-friendly family planning services.
· Providing technical support to implement community-based campaigns to raise awareness on family planning and reproductive health among young people.
· Advocating for the rights and needs of young people, especially young women, in the area of family planning and reproductive health.
· Represent the company at various forums and events and engage in advocacy and networking activities to advance gender equality and women’s empowerment.
· Ensure that all programs and projects are aligned with international human rights and gender equality norms and standards, and that they adhere to ethical and professional standards.
· Mentor and train team members and partners on gender equality and women’s empowerment.
· Stay up to date with the latest developments and trends in the field of gender equality and human rights and share this knowledge with internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge and Experience:
· Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as gender studies, human rights, development, or a related discipline.
· At least 5 years of relevant experience, including experience in designing and implementing gender-sensitive programs and projects.
· Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in high-level advocacy for gender equality and human rights, including gender-based violence, women’s empowerment, and inclusive development.
