Job Description – Deputy Manager Costing

Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed cost analysis of raw materials, labor, and overheads to ensure cost efficiency.
Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and reports for accurate tracking.
Analyze product costing, variances, and profitability to support decision-making.
Monitor production costs, wastage, and efficiency to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning with a focus on cost control.
Support internal and external audits by preparing financial data and documentation.
Conduct financial reviews and risk assessments to strengthen internal controls.
Prepare cost reports, variance analysis, and management reports for senior leadership.
Collaborate with different departments to improve cost structures and financial performance.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: CA Inter / ACCA / CMA
Experience: Minimum 5-7 years in cost accounting within the steel/manufacturing industry; audit experience is a plus.
Strong knowledge of costing techniques, inventory valuation, variance analysis, and internal controls.
Proficiency in SAP B1 and MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage accounts receivable, including posting receipts, aging analysis, and reconciliations.
Oversee collections, verify overdue balances, and approve delivery orders.
Ensure accurate financial reporting, including monthly reconciliations and tax submissions.
Process vendor payments and maintain compliance with financial policies.
Supervise and support the finance team in day-to-day operations.
Maintain and reconcile customer and vendor ledgers.
Assist in audits, financial analysis, and process improvements as required.
