Position Title: Systems Security Engineer
Qualification:
- Master’s Degree from HEC recognized institution
OR
- Bachelor’s / Master’s in Information or Cyber security, Computer Science or Engineering
- Security Certifications such as CompTIA+ or CEH will be preferred
Experience:
- At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role or related field
- Good experience in system/network vulnerability scanning tools and security systems/network, including OS (Win/Linux), Virtualization, AD, Email Security, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and monitor security measures for systems and networks.
- Identify and define security requirements for systems and networks.
- Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices.
- Develop solutions and tools to mitigate security vulnerabilities.
- Write reports on security assessments and recommendations.
- Conduct research to analyze security weaknesses and recommend strategies.
- Review and implement security measures for systems and ensure systems and networks are current, patched, and securely configured.
- Conduct vulnerability scans to identify system gaps and integrate security products and design solutions for networks.
- Collaborate with IT on security assessments and remediation.
- Develop metrics for secure configurations and data loss prevention.
