Hotel One, Pakistan’s fastest-growing select-service hospitality chain, is hiring for the position of Engineering Supervisor at Hotel One – Abbottabad.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform calibrations, adjustments and major repairs & maintenance activities of all hotel systems
- Supervise and/or perform repair and maintenance of all electrical, mechanical equipment and minor installations as and when required
- Supervise Engineering team in the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems to ensure that the work performed is in compliance 1 with designated specifications
- Diagnose and fix electrical, mechanical & civil faults
- Respond, attend and ensure closure of all guest complaints and/or repair requests within stipulated time
- Resolve emergency cases or breakdown which can disturb the hotel operations
- Monitor energy consumption, take measures to ensure efficient utilization of energy enabling organization to save cost
- Ensure all equipment and fixture in guest rooms and back of the house are in operational condition e.g., television, refrigerator, telephone etc.
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
- Providing technical direction and on-the-job training to the team members in order to uplift their capabilities
- Ensure compliance with standards, policies, procedures and work instructions
- Manage the roster of team to ensure availability of requisite manpower per shift
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum Bachelors (14 years) or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 6 – 9 years of proven experience in a similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
