House of Habib is seeking an Information Security Specialist for one of its group companies! The position is Karachi based (Shahrah-e-Faisal) and following is a brief JD:
o) Perform regular security assessments and vulnerability testing.
o) Evaluate the security risks and come up with proper response procedures.
o) Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
o) Respond to and manage security incidents, including investigation and resolution.
o) Analysis and surprise audits of logs pertaining to network and security.
o) Assist in IT internal and external audits
o) Stay current with the latest security threats, technologies, and best practices.
o) Work closely with the IT team to ensure system security and integrity.
o) Work closely with IT team to monitor network traffic for unusual activity & potential threats.
o) Monitor firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security devices.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Professional certification is a plus.
Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience
